Elite: Dangerous is a great platform for this type of fun. The lack of gameplay restrictions means enormous possibilities! We have access to a complex galaxy simulation, with politics, economics, and power struggles – it's like a huge sandbox where we can play however we want!
We've been given the sand and the toys – and now it's up to us to start building the sandcastles and making up stories about knights, dragons, and princesses trapped in tall towers... Oh wait, wrong story! But you know what I mean.
With a little commitment and some good will, you can create great foundations for fun and enjoyment. How we develop our faction does not come from dry calculations and the desire to earn a lot of Credits ASAP, but from the desire for good fun and having that feeling of being a real spaceship pilot who lives in the 34th century and belongs to an independent group of Commanders, who have a great nation from ancient Poland as their ancestors.
Our faction has its own history and lore, which is developed based on the events in game, on our actions and achievements. All the official communication in the group (guidelines, information, newsletter etc.) is kept in the spirit of role playing and IC (in-character) – that is, from the point of view of the character in the game, not the player in front of the monitor.
In our group, we place great emphasis on this aspect, but we do not force anyone to play in this style. However, if you like to get into the game and play in the spirit of role play, you will definitely feel at home with us. If you have no idea what it is... join us to find out!
